Muddy Creek Engineering, LLC is located just west of Cincinnati on a hillside overlooking the Muddy Creek, a small stream which leads into the Ohio River.  Founder and President Dave Miller started the company in August 2019 to expand his consulting and design engineering solutions to manufacturing firms and suppliers for the foundry and molding industries.

 

Dave is an expert in advanced 3D cad design and manufacturing with over 25+ years of experience.  Dave was previously a co-owner and co-manager of Ohio Valley Precision, Inc. - a custom tooling / pattern / mold shop that he co-founded in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  His knowledge and experience also stems from previous employment in the pattern and mold tooling industry, and at a truck brake manufacturer.  Dave has completed engineering design work for numerous customers, including some of the nation's largest foundries such as Grede and Waupaca.  Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and keeps pace with technological trends in manufacturing.

 

When Dave isn’t designing tooling or castings – he’s fly casting!  He also enjoys auto restoration, wood working, and adventuring with his family.
